Howdy!
I’m taking on the VEDA challenge to vlog every day this month. Good times!
To start, I just wanted to share my day, April 1.
Thanks to a bit of research and a lot of exploring, my husband and I have discovered the go to place to enjoy Washington DC’s famous cherry blossoms. You still get rows of beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom along the waterfront. You still get a grassy stretch to picnic or play, but you have way more chances of parking and enjoying minimal crowds: East Potomac Park.
This is the stretch on the way to Hains Point that faces the Anacostia River. Bring friends, bring family… have a grand time!
If you’re far from DC, what are some hidden gems for you in your area?
