Happy Lunar New Year! Want to make new resolutions for the occasion? Now’s your time for a fresh start.
…even if you find yourself having this “fresh start” again and again. Be kind to yourself. You can always start again. You can always change your goals. It’s okay. As long as you’re aligning what brings you joy with what you truly want for yourself in life, it’s all okay. And if you divert, maybe the Universe wanted you to experience some detours anyway. You’ll still make it to your destination as long as you keep focused on what you want from a heart-full perspective.
I, for one, know that sometimes the pressure of January resolutions weighs heavily when you don’t launch into the New Year with gusto. But as much as you control your experience and your reaction to things on this planet, there’s also the very real fact that life and what happens beyond you cannot be controlled.
I had lots of intentions and goals for the start of the year, and that was challenged with lots of unexpected travel and caring for my hospitalized mother-in-law.
Then as everything was looking on the up-and-up with her health, I returned home for a fresh start with tons of goals for the first of February. But then, my mother-in-law passed away just a day after I got home, shaking up my new month start.
So here I am now, making space to grieve. But also, making a point to share on here. Whether I know you personally or not, I know I’m a fan of yours.
Thanks for being you. Thanks for being awesome. And whatever is happening in your world, I wish you the very best. And I’ll mention once again, be kind to yourself.
